About the Role

Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking a motivated and experienced Apprentice Employment Manager (AEM) to join our team at our Parramatta Head Office in NSW.

This full-time role combines business development, sales, account management and apprentice mentoring. You will be responsible for developing new host employer relationships, securing apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities, and managing and supporting apprentices throughout their employment.

We are looking for someone with proven sales experience who is confident approaching businesses, generating new opportunities and building long-term relationships with host employers.

You will play a key role in growing our operations across NSW, with a particular focus on the automotive industry.

You will play a key role in growing our operations across NSW, with a particular focus on the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Actively identify and secure new host employers through business development, sales and networking.
- Generate recent business leads, conduct cold calls, arrange meetings and promote our apprenticeship and traineeship services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing host employers, identifying opportunities for further growth.




- Work closely with the recruitment team to match suitable candidates with host employer vacancies.
- Manage apprentices and trainees from placement through to successful completion.
- Conduct regular workplace visits to monitor apprentice progress and provide ongoing mentoring and support.
- Address workplace concerns, performance issues and other challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to monitor training progress and qualification requirements.
- Promote apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities to businesses, schools and industry stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with the National Standards for Group Training Organisations and relevant legislation.
- Achieve monthly sales, business development, apprentice placement and performance KPIs.
- Adhere to Apprenticeships Are Us policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

- Proven sales and business development experience is essential, with the ability to generate leads, secure new business and achieve targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in account management, recruitment, employment services or a similar industry.
- Ability to confidently approach prospective employers, conduct business meetings and convert opportunities into ongoing partnerships.
- Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- A current driver's licence.
- A genuine passion for supporting apprentices and trainees to achieve successful employment outcomes.

Highly Regarded:

- Previous experience working within a Group Training Organisation (GTO).
- Robust knowledge of apprenticeships,



traineeships and the Group Training model.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the National Standards for Group Training Organisations and relevant apprenticeship and traineeship legislation.
- Experience working within the automotive industry or other trade-based industries.
- Established industry contacts and experience developing relationships with host employers.
