Join a team focused on making Finance simpler, smarter and more connected. This role leads automation, reporting and process improvement initiatives across Finance, Data and Technology.
What you'll do
- Lead automation, reporting and process improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
- Build and manage a pipeline of Finance improvement opportunities, balancing impact, effort and risk.
- Partner with stakeholders to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve decision-making.
- Deliver practical solutions from discovery and design through to implementation, adoption and perks realisation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Data and Operations to achieve successful outcomes.
- Mentor a small team while driving meaningful change and continuous improvement across the Finance function.
Qualifications / Experience
- Relevant qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business or Information Systems; CA or CPA qualifications are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of Finance operations, including planning, forecasting,
reporting and performance insights.
- Ability to identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve ways of working.
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering automation, reporting and data solutions to deliver practical business outcomes.
- Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI and other business intelligence tools; S/4HANA experience is highly regarded.
- Strong analytical, Excel and problem-solving skills, with a focus on sustainable improvements and data quality.
