About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Urology clinical nurse (CN) to join our team.

- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
- Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Protected Practice
- Safe operation of equipment relative to clinical area (e.g. ventilators, dialysis machines/OT)
- Standards and scope of practice for different nursing roles (EN, Assistant Nursing, PSAs) to enable effective direct and indirect supervision
- Authority to work in Australia
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Experienced in the theatre environment (Essential)
- Previous experience in clinical education and training.
- An ability to influence at various hospital levels, plan efficiently and effectively and show drive to achieve results.
- Outstanding relationship building and communication skills.
- Productive in a self-directed environment.
- Able to communicate with people on a variety of knowledge levels.




- Clinical expertise in urology and a commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused.
