We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineering Lead / SME to lead cloud platform engineering, infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, security, and modernization initiatives in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop cloud engineering standards, DevOps policies, reusable IaC modules, and engineering patterns.
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS workloads using Terraform and DevOps practices.
- Prepare and review technical design documents, ensuring alignment with architecture, security, resilience, performance, and operational standards.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and observability solutions.
- Manage Azure Backup, disaster recovery, Azure Monitor, and IaaS workload reliability.
- Drive cloud security, governance, compliance, Azure Policy, policy-as-code, IAM, Entra ID, and Conditional Access.
- Conduct technical spikes and testing for security, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud transformation initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and promote cloud engineering best practices, reusable solutions, and platform supportability.

Essential Skills & Experience

- 8–10 years of experience in medium to large IT environments, preferably as a Cloud SME, Lead Engineer, or Cloud Architect.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on Azure Public Cloud experience across IaaS and PaaS services, including compute, storage, databases, and networking.




- Solid experience with Terraform OSS, IaC, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps.
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, disaster recovery, and recovery planning.
- Experience with Azure Policy, policy-as-code, cloud security, governance, and compliance.

Key Technical Skills

Candidates must have strong expertise in any 2–3 of the following areas:

- Azure IaaS/PaaS
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Azure Entra ID, IAM, and Conditional Access
- Cloud Security, Governance, and Compliance
- Disaster Recovery, Backup, and Recovery
- Qualys Vulnerability Management
- GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD, and DevSecOps
