About Us

Il Granino Bakery is a rapid-paced, high-output wholesale bakery supplying premium specialty breads to cafés, lunch bars, schools, and commercial kitchens across WA. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our equipment and facilities at our Osborne Park site.

About the Role

This is a full-time salaried position with long-term career potential. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our bakery equipment and infrastructure through preventative maintenance, hands-on repairs, and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general maintenance and repairs on bakery machinery and building infrastructure

- Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program

- Reduce third-party contractor reliance by performing in-house repairs

- Ensure equipment and workspaces comply with Food Safety and WHS standards

- Support and train staff in the secure use and cleaning of equipment

- Submit monthly reports and participate in management meetings





- Drive improvement in maintenance systems and practices

- Collaborate with shift supervisors, section leaders, and the Quality team

- Promote a clean, safe, and compliant working environment

What You Bring:

- Strong mechanical and or electrical aptitude

- Experience in machinery maintenance (preferably in food production or similar)

- Hands-on problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to manage time and maintenance schedules effectively

- Understanding of WHS, GMP, and Food Safety standards

- Positive team attitude and leadership mindset
