As a Branch Assistant at Tradelink, you'll help make sure customers receive the right products, on time and with great service. You'll be friendly, reliable and enjoy being out on the road, supporting our branch operations and customer deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Completing local same-day deliveries and return runs, including safely loading and unloading goods
- Providing friendly customer service in the branch and at customer and supplier sites
- Coordinating deliveries with customers, suppliers and the dispatch team
- Receiving incoming stock and assisting with stock control and inventory management
- Completing daily vehicle checks, maintaining logbooks and ensuring goods are transported safely
- Maintaining a clean, protected and organised warehouse and branch environment
- Learning counter sales and order processing as you develop within the role
- Supporting the team across general branch operations as required
About you
- A valid driver's licence is essential
- Plumbing industry experience or knowledge of plumbing products or wholesale/trade sales experience would be highly beneficial, though not essential
- Comfortable engaging with customers and providing tailored recommendations
- Hard-working, adaptable team member who contributes to a positive work culture
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with experienced tradespeople
- A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not required
