Building Inspector – Full-Time | Melbourne | January Start

We are seeking a full-time Building Inspector based in Melbourne to join our team. In this role you will conduct thorough building site inspections, enforce building codes, and ensure compliance. Daily responsibilities include examining structures for defects and preparing detailed reports on your findings. A company vehicle is provided to complete these tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out thorough on-site building inspections
- Enforce building codes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Examine structures for defects and non-compliance issues
- Prepare clear, detailed inspection reports
- Work independently on site

Requirements

- Proven skills in building inspections and site inspections
- Experience with code enforcement
- Site manager experience or a trade background
- Current OH&S; White Card

- Drivers licence

• Ability to read and interpret building plans
- Excellent attention to detail and solid analytical skills
- Relevant certification or degree in Building & Construction Management (or a related field)
- Ability to work independently and on-site
