Business Consultant | Engineering Technology | Perth, WA

We are partnering with an established engineering technology business seeking a driven Business Consultant to grow its customer base across Western Australia.

This is a genuine new-business role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and turning technical conversations into commercial opportunities.

You will be responsible for identifying and winning new customers, understanding their business challenges and introducing engineering technology solutions that support better design, productivity and engineering workflows.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying and targeting new business opportunities across WA.
- Generating your own pipeline through cold calling, prospecting and outbound outreach.
- Securing and conducting face-to-face meetings with prospective customers.
- Building relationships with engineering, operational and business stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and working towards new-business revenue targets.
- Travelling throughout WA,



with periodic interstate travel for training and sales conferences.

What we're looking for

- A degree in an engineering discipline, ideally mechanical engineering or a related field.
- A proven track record in new-business development, hunting and winning new customers.
- Confidence with cold calling, prospecting and securing meetings independently.
- Robust commercial instincts and a consultative approach to selling technical solutions.
- A willingness to travel throughout WA and attend periodic interstate training and sales events.
- Experience in CAD, 3D design, PLM, simulation, manufacturing technology or other engineering solutions would be highly regarded.

What's on offer?

- $110,000–$130,000 base salary, depending on experience.
- Ownership of a WA territory with the autonomy to build your own pipeline.
