About the Role
As a Accounting Manager, you will:
- Manage and grow a diverse client portfolio, taking ownership of client relationships and becoming a trusted adviser to business owners and private clients.
- Deliver proactive accounting, taxation and advisory solutions, providing commercial insights and contributing to specialised consulting and corporate advisory engagements.
- Alongside the rest of the leadership team, mentor and support team members, helping to develop capability, manage workflow and drive successful client outcomes alongside the broader leadership team.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships, expand service offerings and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
- Work closely with Partners to build long-term client connections and support the future succession and growth plans of the business.
About you
You’ll be a good fit for the Accounting Manager role if you have:
- Significant experience within a public practice accounting environment.
- Solid technical accounting and taxation expertise.
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and providing business advisory services.
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to mentor, coach and develop team members.
- A desire to build a long-term career and progress into senior leadership opportunities.
