About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Captain to join our team at Melbourne Airport. The Captain will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of the aircraft and upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate aircraft in accordance with standard operating procedures and all relevant regulations
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers, crew, and aircraft throughout all phases of flight
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and coordinate with ground personnel to confirm aircraft readiness
- Prepare and review flight plans, weather reports, and NOTAMs to determine flight routes and contingencies
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control, ground crew, and co-pilot
- Lead and supervise the flight crew, fostering effective teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment
- Manage in-flight operations, including navigation, monitoring systems, and handling emergencies as required




- Represent the organization with the highest standard of professionalism when interacting with passengers and partners

Required Qualifications

- Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by CASA or equivalent
- Minimum flight hours as specified by regulatory authority (typically 1,500+)
- Experience in multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft operations
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, procedures, and safety protocols
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
- Proven track record of reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
- Eligibility to work in Australia and ability to obtain and maintain necessary airport passes
