As the Channel Presales Engineer / Specialist, you will provide technical presales support across Eaton's Power Quality portfolio, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDUs), monitoring software and associated services. Working closely with Business Development Managers, distributors, wholesalers, channel partners and end users, you'll help identify opportunities, design fit-for-purpose solutions and support successful project outcomes. You'll also play a key role in partner enablement through technical training, workshops and product demonstrations.

Key responsibilities

- Provide expert technical presales support across Eaton's Power Quality product portfolio.

- Respond to customer and partner enquiries, delivering timely technical advice and solution recommendations.

- Collaborate with Business Development Managers to identify, qualify and progress sales opportunities.

- Design and recommend technically and commercially viable solutions that meet customer requirements.

- Prepare quotations and manage opportunities through Salesforce.

- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast and activity records.

- Monitor enquiry volumes, conversion rates and quotation performance, providing insights to support business growth.

- Support distributor, reseller and wholesaler-generated opportunities.

- Act as a trusted technical advisor to internal sales teams and channel partners.

- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, site assessments and product demonstrations.

About you





- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in technical presales, sales engineering, solution design or technical support within the electrical, critical infrastructure or power quality industry.

- Experience supporting channel partners, distributors, resellers, consultants and end users.

- Strong knowledge of UPS systems, power distribution, power management software and critical power infrastructure solutions.

- Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop practical, commercially viable solutions.

- Experience preparing quotations and managing opportunities through Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.

- Understanding of solution design, power protection concepts, product sizing and data centre environments.

- Confident delivering technical presentations, demonstrations and training programs.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
