About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chiller / Freezer Manager to join our team at Neil Mansell Transport Pty Ltd in Darwin, NT. This full-time role will see you overseeing the efficient and compliant operation of our chiller and freezer facilities, ensuring the safe storage and distribution of temperature-sensitive goods.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the chiller and freezer facilities, including monitoring temperatures, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating deliveries and collections

2. Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and storage regulations

3. Liaise with customers, suppliers and drivers to ensure a seamless and reliable service

4. Maintain detailed records and reporting on all chiller and freezer activities

What we're looking for

1. Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar chiller / freezer management role, ideally within the manufacturing,



transport or logistics industries

2. Thorough understanding of food safety and temperature control regulations, with the ability to implement and maintain rigorous compliance processes

3. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

4. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail

5. Forklift and/or other warehouse equipment operating licenses would be highly regarded
