An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a well-established and highly successful Australian business on an initial 3-month temporary assignment, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

Working within a large, established network of independently operated businesses, this role will see you partnering closely with business owners to drive financial performance, improve profitability and support strategic decision-making.

This is a genuinely commercial role, requiring someone who can build relationships, influence stakeholders and translate financial information into meaningful business outcomes.

The role will include

- Partnering with approximately 180 independently operated businesses across a state

- Reviewing weekly P&Ls; and identifying opportunities to improve profitability

- Supporting business owners with cash flow management, forecasting and financial planning

- Providing commercial insights and recommendations to improve operational performance

- Developing financial strategies and savings plans to support future capital investment





- Supporting projects to improve financial reporting, systems integration and visibility across the network

- Building robust relationships with stakeholders and influencing commercial decisions

To be successful, you will ideally have experience working within a franchise environment, although candidates with strong multi-site or multi-P&L; experience will also be highly regarded.

You will be commercially astute, confident working with operational stakeholders and comfortable challenging and influencing business owners.

Experience across retail, hospitality, FMCG or other multi-site environments would be advantageous.
