The Role
- Working within an experienced project team consisting of Senior Project Manager, Site Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Site Engineers, Foremen + Labour, Senior CA, CA & Cadet, you will be an integral part of the commercial team. Your core duties will cover procurement & trade letting, variation management, cashflow forecasting & assisting in putting together monthly cost reports, attending PCG meetings & issuing notices such as EOT's & Notice of Delays.
- Working closely with the Senior CA on the project, they have more than 15 years' experience across large scale Australian projects & have a reputation for assisting in the professional development of their CA's. They will actively engage with you around process and help give you robust exposure to the more complex areas of contractual management of the Head Contract in particular.
- The project involves the current construction of a $115M commercial facility spanning 3 level basement, 3 level retail/hospitality centre with a 12 level office tower above.
The programme runs for 18 months and the project was won through ECI where the Builder has demonstrated some excellent cost savings through significant value engineering. It's expected you will have delivered projects $20M+ - you must have worked on structural Scopes of Work such as FRP even if they are on the lower end of dollar scale and it would be ideal if you have used Jobpac although not essential.
The Company

Privately owned & maintaining a family oriented culture, you will have regular contact with the Owners of the business rather than working in an impersonal environment
- They typically run 4-6 concurrent projects with the vast majority of work in Western Sydney over there near 30 year history as a business
- Projects vary in value from $30 - $180M

Qualifications & Experience
- You must have worked as a CA post-qualification for a minimum of 3 years within Australia & have full working rights with no restrictions
- You must have worked on new build projects in either medium/high density residential or new build commercial projects above $20M - they need someone who understands how to write a scope for key structural trades
- You will be commutable to Gregory Hills
- You will be a team player who understands you need to commit to the project and help with what needs to be done to deliver a successful project
- Ideally you will have worked with Jobpac & Procore
- Any experience delivering commercial and/or residential towers in Sydney will be viewed favourably
- You will be looking for a long term position - no job hoppers
