About the Role
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight and goods throughout Townsville and surrounding areas. You will play a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient delivery of freight and goods
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Sorting and scanning freight
- Manual handling of parcels and cartons
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment
- Conducting vehicle pre-start inspections
- Completing delivery documentation and paperwork
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Current MR Licence or higher (essential)
- Current Forklift Licence (LF) (essential)
- Previous delivery driving, freight, or warehouse experience highly regarded
- Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to pass a pre-employment urine drug screen
