We're looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team in a casual position, with an exciting opportunity to transition into a permanent part-time or full-time role as our practice continues to expand!
About the opportunity
The position will initially involve working:
- Thursdays: 7:45am – 5:15pm
- Fridays: 7:45am – 4:00pm
As our practice continues to grow, there is genuine potential for additional hours and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, a genuine passion for patient care and a willingness to be part of a cooperative team.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (highly regarded)
- Confidence providing chairside assistance and supporting dentists during procedures
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilisation procedures
- Willingness to assist with room changeovers, instrument processing and restocking
- A warm, friendly and compassionate approach to patient care
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues
- A proactive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn and develop
