The Role

Lead Brennan’s Government division, one of our key strategic growth investments, building our presence and reputation across the Australian public sector.

Based in Canberra and reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll join Brennan’s ELT and own the Government strategy, P&L; and growth agenda, strengthening our existing agency relationships while building the sovereign capability required to win larger,



more complex government opportunities.

What You’ll Lead

- Lead the Government strategy: Own Brennan’s government growth plan, market positioning, investment priorities and commercial performance.

- Grow our Canberra presence: Build senior relationships across the APS and establish Brennan as a trusted partner to Government.

- Win major opportunities: Lead strategic government pursuits and bids, expanding our existing Cybersecurity and networking footprint into more agencies.

- Build sovereign capability: Shape and scale the people, technology, accreditation and delivery capability required to compete for larger government opportunities.

- Drive profitable growth: Own the Government P&L;, pipeline, forecast and investment performance.

- Build for the future: Lead the Canberra team and shape Brennan’s longer-term expansion across Federal and State Government.

What You’ll Bring

- Deep, current relationships across the APS, agency CIO community and Canberra technology market.

- Senior leadership experience across Government technology, outsourcing or services.

- Strong understanding of government procurement, panels and security requirements, including IRAP, DISP and Essential Eight.

- Proven experience leading and winning large, complex government bids and opportunities.

- Experience building or scaling a government, sovereign or comparable technology practice.

- Strong P&L; and commercial leadership with the ability to translate market opportunity into profitable growth.

- Executive presence and credibility with senior government, customer, Board and internal stakeholders.
