You will work directly with participants in their homes and communities, assisting them with everyday activities, building independence and helping them achieve their individual goals. Full training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role.
Key responsibilities
- Personal care and daily living assistance
- Bowel care and high-intensity supports
- Community access and social activities
- Domestic assistance and household tasks
- Rehabilitation and goal-focused support
- Respite and overnight support
- Shopping, appointments and transport assistance
About you
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification, OR at least 3 years of relevant experience
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Experience working with participants with complex care needs is highly regarded
