Two Casual Dog Daycare Positions Available | Potential Start Date: Early December

Do you love dogs? Are you reliable, hardworking and ready to be part of a fun, busy team?

Waggy Warehouse is looking for two new casual team members to join our dog daycare crew!

We have two positions available:

- Position 1: 10.5 hours per week
- Position 2: 14 hours per week

What does the role involve? Working in dog daycare is rewarding, but it’s not just cuddling dogs all day!

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Caring for and supervising dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities.
- Monitoring dog behaviour and interactions to help ensure all dogs have a safe and positive day.
- Keeping the daycare environment clean, protected and hygienic throughout the day.
- Completing daily cleaning and end-of-day duties.
- Helping with the general day-to-day running of daycare.
- Working as part of a team to ensure our dogs receive the best possible care.

We’re looking for people who are:
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Hardworking and happy to get involved in all aspects of the role.
- Confident and comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
- Observant and able to recognise dog behaviour and body language.
- Willing to learn, take direction and follow procedures.
- Able to work well in a team and use their initiative.




- Physically capable of being on their feet and active throughout their shift.

Experience working with dogs is preferred. A good understanding of dogs, their behaviour and their needs would be a big advantage. You don’t need to know everything, but you do need to be willing to learn, take responsibility and understand that caring for dogs involves more than just playing with them.
