About the Role

Prolux Electrical is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Project & Key Account Manager to join our Brisbane team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established industry professional or a highly capable senior electrician ready to step off the tools and progress into a leadership role.

Based at our Slacks Creek office, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial electrical works, preventative maintenance contracts and key client accounts.

You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, coordinate resources and build lasting client relationships, working alongside a dedicated Project Coordinator who provides administrative, scheduling and operational support. You'll also be supported by an established team of electricians, apprentices and fellow managers.

What You'll Be Doing

- Oversee electrical works from initial enquiry and quotation through to completion.

- Work closely with your Project Coordinator to manage scheduling, job administration, procurement and documentation.

- Coordinate technicians, subcontractors and resources to ensure efficient service delivery.

- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing regular communication and practical solutions.

- Oversee planned preventative maintenance programs and compliance requirements.

- Prepare quotations, estimates, variations and technical reports.

- Monitor job costs, budgets and profitability.





- Identify new work opportunities within existing client accounts.

- Provide technical guidance and leadership to field technicians.

- Ensure works meet relevant Australian Standards, safety requirements and quality expectations.

- Collaborate with the wider management team to improve operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

- Experience in electrical contracting, service management or a senior electrical supervisory role.

- Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical installations and maintenance.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.

- Confident communication skills and the ability to develop long-term client relationships.

- Sound commercial understanding, including estimating, labour allocation and profitability.

- Leadership capabilities with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

- Electrical trade qualifications.

Experienced electricians looking to transition off the tools into a management role are encouraged to apply.

Experience with Simpro, facilities management clients and preventative maintenance contracts will be highly regarded.
