- This a long-term stable position. They don't hire and fire and make sure to look after their staff. It's a business where people genuinely stick around for the long-term
- The actual work is varied, technical and interesting. Main switchboard upgrades, UPS replacements, big refurbishment projects in live operational facilities.
- The business do a lot of direct to end user contracts - meaning that you'll be predominantly working as the principal rather than the subcontractor. There's still challenges associated with working direct to client, but a definite change in working direct to builders
- Culturally they're a very good and look after their staff. I've placed 7 managerial roles with them over the yearas and have always had positive feedback on the work environment, everyone chips in to help each other out.
The Company
My client are a privately owned Mechanical & Electrical contractor based in Western Sydney. They're a cracking business - they specialise in technical M&E; projects predominantly in live operational facilities - Universities, small data centers, hospitals & exchanges.
They're big enough so you'll be working on interesting jobs with top clients, but boutique enough so the team culture & employee recognition doesn't get lost as in some tier 1's.
The Role
- This is an Electrical Project Management role, so you'll be managing project budgets, programming jobs, helping to maintain good relationships with their clients.
- The works valuable - you'll be working on more technical electrical projects - think UPS replacements, Main Switchboard upgrades & DB cutovers.
- A lot of their work is in live operational facilities - Uni's, Hospitals, Telephone exchanges and the like
- You'll be fully supported by the businesses GM when you need a hand.
The Person
We're looking for someone who has experience in project managing on technical LV electrical projects, and either comes from the electrical trade or an electrical engineering discipline.
OK I'm quite interested - what now?
You can either apply now, give me a call on 0409 298 or e-mail me at *@elysiumrecruitment.com.au. I'm happy to go into more detail, and always keep conversations confidential.
