Walter J Pratt P/L have been a leader in the Melbourne commercial pool industry for over 50 years. We are seeking a quality A Grade electrician to join our installation team.

We are an Australian owned family business that absolutely respects their employees and teamwork.

We require a full time A Grade electrician to join our state wide installation team, primarily working on commercial and council swimming pool filtration systems.

Your role will include both power and controls / automation cabling and fit off. Occasional control panel fit out will also be required.

The applicant will need to demonstrate the following.

· Experience with mechanical / industrial electrical installations

· Demonstrate knowledge of instrumentation, controls and automation

· Ability to work alone or within a team setting





· Assist the service department from time to time to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and make repairs as necessary.

· Good time management skills

· Current driving license

· Ability to problem solve

Knowledge of PLC functionality

Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics and technical drawings

Occasional travel with short stays away

We have experienced electricians that can support and train the successful applicant The position comes with a vehicle and phone.

Experience with mechanical plant instrumentation installation would be an advantage. We will train the successful applicant on specific equipment as required.
