Hitch Campers is looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join the team full-time at the Coomera workshop. This is an entry-level role perfect for school leavers or those looking to kickstart a hands-on career. You don't need prior experience—just a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for working with your hands. Training will be provided from the ground up.
Key responsibilities
- Learn how to safely use professional hand and power tools
- Assist senior builders with measuring, cutting materials, and prepping components for custom off-grid RVs
- Help install components.
- Keep the workshop organised, clean, and stocked with parts so the build team can run smoothly
About you
- No formal trade experience required
- Enjoy physical work, fixing things,
or tinkering with hobbies in your spare time
- Show up on time every day, ready to work and eager to learn
- Take pride in your work, follow instructions carefully, and aren't afraid to ask questions
- Have a reliable way to get to the workshop in Coomera every day
