We are partnering with a well established global powerhouse seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 6 month contract.

You’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting requirements and contributing to the smooth running of the finance function.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys working across month-end, financial reporting and audit processes in a team-oriented team environment.

The Role

Joining a collaborative and high-performing finance team, you'll provide hands-on support across financial reporting, month-end activities, reconciliations, and compliance requirements during a busy period.

This role will suit a technically strong accountant who can quickly integrate into an established team and add value from day one.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Prepare month-end journals, accruals and prepayments

- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances

- Assist with monthly and statutory financial reporting requirements

- Support budgeting and forecasting activities

- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation calculations

- Assist with audit preparation and audit requests

- Review and improve financial processes and controls





- Support compliance obligations and reporting deadlines

- Partner with internal stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and support

About You

Skills and Experience

- CA or CPA qualification (essential)

- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant role within large organisation

- Strong financial reporting and month-end experience

- Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills

- Advanced Excel capability

- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- Availability to commence at short notice preferred
