About The Chance

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll take ownership of the finance function, overseeing financial reporting, governance, compliance and day-to-day financial operations.

This is a broad, hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, sound commercial judgement and the ability to drive change.

Leading an established finance team, you'll strengthen financial processes and controls, improve reporting and systems, and work closely with operational stakeholders to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the finance team, overseeing financial operations and reporting across multiple entities.
- Manage month-end close, statutory and management reporting, balance sheet integrity, audit and compliance.
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to accounting standards.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and capital management, providing financial insights to senior stakeholders.
- Drive change and continuous improvement across financial systems, reporting and processes.

About You:





You're a technically strong, commercially aware finance leader who takes pride in maintaining high standards of financial reporting and control.

Hands-on and naturally curious, you enjoy getting into the detail, challenging existing processes and finding better ways of working. You're equally comfortable leading a team, engaging stakeholders and driving change.

You'll Bring

- CA or CPA qualification with proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including statutory reporting, financial controls and multi-entity accounting.
- Demonstrated experience leading finance teams and overseeing financial operations.
- A track record of driving change, improving processes and strengthening financial systems and reporting.
- Sound commercial acumen, strong communication skills and the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
- Experience across asset-intensive, multi-site environments such as construction, mining services, equipment hire, transport or industrial services will be highly regarded.
