Railway Hotel Gosford is looking for confident, reliable and customer-focused all-rounder to join our team over the Christmas period, with a permanent position available to the right applicant.

We’re after people who understand good hospitality: welcoming guests, moving with purpose, keeping the floor sharp, and helping create a outstanding experience from the moment people walk in.

This role is mainly focused on floor service, bar expertise, and customer interaction.

About the Role

You will be working across our restaurant and bar areas, helping with:

- Running meals from the kitchen to tables

- Carrying three plates confidently

- Clearing tables and keeping the venue clean and presentable

- Greeting guests and providing friendly, professional service

- Taking direction from supervisors and managers

- Bar service - Tap beers, wines, and mixed drinks/cocktails

- Helping maintain a smooth flow between the kitchen, floor and bar

What We’re Looking For The right person will be:

- Friendly, reliable and well-presented

- Confident talking to customers

- Competent in TAB and Keno





- Able to work under pressure in a busy venue

- Willing to learn and take feedback
- A team player with a positive attitude

- Available nights and weekends

- Experienced in hospitality, ideally in a pub, bar or restaurant environment

Experience Required

We are looking for applicants with at least 12 months’ experience in a pub, restaurant, bar or similar hospitality workplace.

Experience carrying three plates, running food and working in a fast-paced venue will be highly regarded.

Requirements

- Current RSA and RCG

- Minimum 12 months’ hospitality experience

- Availability across weekdays, nights and weekends
