About the Role As a Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport operations to maximise fleet efficiency while ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule daily pick-up and delivery runs to maximise fleet utilisation and service performance.
- Allocate jobs and provide ongoing support to drivers throughout the day.
- Monitor service delivery and quickly resolve operational issues or delays.
- Manage priority freight and special customer requirements.
- Track fleet performance and report on key operational KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations, fatigue management requirements, safety standards, and Dangerous Goods legislation.




- Work closely with warehouse, freight, and distribution teams to ensure seamless freight movements.

About You

You are a highly organised transport professional who enjoys working in a busy operational environment and can confidently make decisions under pressure.

To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience in Fleet Control, Allocation, or Transport Operations.
- Strong knowledge of the transport and logistics industry.
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with transport management or dispatch systems.
- Knowledge of NHVR fatigue management, load restraint, and Dangerous Goods requirements will be highly regarded.
