- Conduct comprehensive mental health, psychosocial and risk assessments.
- Develop and review individual care plans and therapeutic goals.
- Provide ongoing counselling and therapeutic support via telehealth.
- Undertake suicide risk assessments, safety planning and risk management activities.
- Coordinate referrals and support young people to access additional services when required.
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Lead and multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for young people.
Desired Skills And Experience What We're Looking For Essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional registration or accreditation.
- Demonstrated experience delivering therapeutic interventions to young people.
- Proven clinical telehealth experience,
including delivering assessments, interventions and ongoing therapeutic support in a virtual environment.
- Experience conducting mental health assessments, risk assessments and safety planning.
- Strong communication, engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while remaining connected within a multidisciplinary team.
Highly Regarded
- Experience within the headspace model.
- Experience supporting young people in regional, rural or remote communities.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and communities.
