Holiday Inn Express Perth Cockburn is seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on and service-driven Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Hotel Management Team, the Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's daily food and beverage operations, with a robust focus on our signature Holiday Inn Express breakfast experience, food quality, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.





You will play a key role in ensuring our food and beverage offering consistently meets brand standards while maintaining effective cost controls, food safety compliance and a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the daily food and beverage operations, including breakfast service, food preparation and beverage service.

- Lead, motivate, train and develop food and beverage team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

- Ensure the consistent delivery of Holiday Inn Express brand standards and service expectations.

- Oversee breakfast buffet presentation, food quality, replenishment and service efficiency.

- Monitor food and beverage costs, stock levels, ordering, wastage and inventory controls.

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food handling and workplace safety.

- Ensure compliance with HACCP principles, food safety requirements and relevant Western Australian legislation.

- Coordinate team rosters, daily task allocations and staffing requirements in line with operational demands.

- Manage guest feedback and resolve service concerns professionally and promptly.

- Work collaboratively with Front Office, Housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.

- Support management with operational reporting, continuous improvement initiatives and departmental performance.

- Assist with supplier relationships, purchasing and stocktakes.

- Promote a positive, inclusive and accountable team culture.

About You

We are looking for a proactive hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

To be successful, you will ideally possess:





- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor or senior food and beverage team leader position, preferably within a hotel environment.

- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience supervising breakfast operations, buffet service or high-volume food and beverage outlets.

- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety practices.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Experience with stock management, cost control, ordering and rostering.

- A hands-on approach and willingness to support the team during busy service periods.

- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required.

- Full Australian working rights.

Experience with IHG Hotels & Resorts or another internationally recognised hotel brand will be highly regarded.
