About the Role: As an aged or disabled carer, you will report to the Managing Director. Due to growth in demand for our services, we have multiple permanent full-time positions available. We are looking for an experienced and qualified candidate to provide personal care, daily living and community participation support to people living with disability or aged people, in their homes and in the community. This is a permanent full-time role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence support.
- Assist with mobility, transfers and positioning using safe manual handling techniques.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking, observing dietary requirements.
- Assist with medication as prescribed and record all assistance provided.
- Provide companionship and emotional support and encourage independence.
- Support participation in social and community activities, including transport to appointments.
- Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and shopping.
- Monitor participants’ health and wellbeing and report changes or incidents promptly.




- Follow individual support plans and maintain accurate shift notes.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

- Comply with all requirements of the Work Health and Safety Legislation and the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.
- Apply infection prevention and control, hand hygiene and waste management procedures at all times.
- Support a positive health and safety culture and report hazards and incidents promptly.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), aged care or equivalent.
- At least One (1) year of full time or equivalent part time relevant experience as a disability or aged care support worker.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid Australian driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module and related NDIS training modules.
- Current training in manual handling, infection prevention and control, hand hygiene, waste management, trauma-informed care and medication administration (or willingness to complete on commencement).
- Genuinely caring nature, strong communication skills, reliability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. JOB DETAILS:

Job Type: Permanent Full-time Pay: $80,000 – $85,000 per year (plus Superannuation)
