About the role

Carry out general garden maintenance on customer properties in the Eastern Suburbs to a very high standard of quality and care, and assist the Aloe There Gardening team with garden tidy-up projects.

Key responsibilities

- Perform garden tasks (e.g. pruning, planting, pest and disease control, turf management) using correct horticultural practices

- Mow, edge and maintain customer lawns

- Weed gardens and paths as required

- Water and feed lawns and gardens as requested

- Apply mulch and fertiliser to gardens and lawns as required

- Sweep and blow paths and hard surfaces

- Hedge and trim shrubs and trees

- Clean gutters

- Assist with landscape and garden tidy-up projects

- Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and carefully

About you

- Previous experience in gardening, grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor role (minimum 1+ years, or entry-level applicants will be considered)

- Working knowledge of correct horticultural practices, including pruning, planting, weeding, pest and disease control and lawn care

- Competent in operating gardening equipment such as mowers, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers and blowers, and in safe chemical handling





- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work

- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic

- Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks

- Able to work as part of a team, and to work efficiently unsupervised and under pressure

- Valid and current driver's licence

- Right to work in Australia
