About the role

Lead Key Manufacturing and Bespoke Aluminium, two established businesses within the Bespoke Manufacturing Group based in South Australia. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the office team, learning and developing every part of the business, from quoting and operations through to sales and business development. You will be accountable for running a high-quality manufacturing company, reporting to the C-suite with full site and P&L; accountability.

Key responsibilities

- Take a hands-on approach to developing the office team, its systems and its processes

- Learn and lead every part of the business, including quoting, operations, sales and business development

- Lead, support and develop our production and office teams at our Melrose Park site

- Protect and strengthen a positive, customer-focused culture

- Work closely with department leads to keep the business running consistently and safely

- Uphold WHS and quality (ISO 9001) standards

- Grow and deepen existing key accounts across electronics, Defence, mining and industrial sectors

- Build recent relationships across South Australian manufacturing and finishing

- Develop interstate opportunities in component manufacturing and Defence finishing

- Own the sales pipeline, quoting, pricing and margin performance

- Ensure on-time, in-full delivery from extrusion through to finished product

- Oversee extrusion sourcing, die development, inventory and turnkey supply programs

- Drive quality, throughput and capacity planning across anodising, powder coating and machining

- Maintain the precision and cosmetic finish standards our customers expect

- Full accountability for running a high-quality manufacturing company across both businesses

- Full site management, including operations, office, facilities and assets

- Full P&L; accountability, including budgeting,



forecasting and cost control

- Regular reporting to the C-suite on performance, growth and delivery

About you

- A hands-on, proven manufacturing leader who builds trust with teams and customers

- Willing to roll up your sleeves and learn every part of the business

- Track record of growing B2B or OEM revenue through strong relationships

- Hands-on quoting experience, including job costing, pricing and margin management

- Experience holding site and P&L; accountability in a manufacturing business

- Background in aluminium extrusion, anodising, powder coating or CNC machining highly regarded

- High standards for quality, accuracy and finish

- Experience with Lean, continuous improvement and ERP systems

- Defence industry experience desirable

- Full Australian working rights required
