Qualifications & experience
- HC Licence Preferred (HR Licence at minimum)
- Front End Loader preferred but not essential
- White or Blue Card Essential
- Experience with Excavator, Roller, Grader, Water Truck, Semi Tipper/ Side Tipper, Quad Float would be advantageous.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Operate trucks and heavy machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines with attention to detail over all aspects of truck and machinery operations.
- Conduct daily truck and heavy machine pre-starts and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Complete high quality safety documents: Take5, SWMS and SOP's as well as work observations. Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
- Ongoing fitness for duty and pass company regular drug and alcohol tests Daily.
- Appropriate Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
- Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get along with team members, contractors and subcontractors to meet company goals.
- Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given, and carry out duties within given timeframe within a effective, efficient and safe manner.
- Professional approach. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent attention to detail. Positive approach to change. 'Can do' attitude
