Kings Park Tavern, part of the Marlow Hotel Group, requires a capable Head Chef for our kitchen brigade. The Hotel provides full Hotel facilities including Food, Beverage, Bottle shop, TAB, and VIP Gaming Lounge.

The bistro operates seven days a week from, 11:00am to 9:00pm (Sunday to Thursday) 11:00am-9:30pm (Friday and Saturday)

Reporting directly to our Group Exec Chef and General manager, while receiving high levels of support, direction and coaching, you along with the current, high performing kitchen brigade will be responsible for;

· Management & staff training of kitchen brigade

· Stock Ordering and rotation

· Rostering and wage control within predetermined budgets

· Kitchen Cleanliness and compliance with regulations as required

· Menu planning and implementation

· Food costing & stock control

· Menu Item presentation according to recipe cards

· Compilation of the weekly specials





· Harboring an effective relationship between Kitchen and FOH teams The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills, be well presented, understand the true meaning of excellent customer service and be willing to go that extra step to ensure our valued patrons enjoy their casual dining experience at the hotel.

You will have completed the Certificate 3 in commercial cookery qualification or equivalent.

This is a permanent salary position (approx. 45 Hours p.w) and involves night and in particular weekend work including selected Public Holidays.
