About the Role

Are you an HSEQ professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and making a genuine impact on workplace safety? We are partnering with leading organisations across Western Australia to connect skilled HSEQ professionals with a range of exciting career opportunities across the civil, construction, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.

These opportunities will see you working across varied operational environments, contributing to major projects and initiatives while continuing to build on your HSEQ knowledge and experience. Whether you're ready to take the next step in your career, gain exposure to different industries or explore a recent working environment, we can help you find a role that suits your skills, experience and future ambitions.

Depending on the opportunity, you will play an important part in achieving company-wide HSEQ objectives while ensuring employees and contractors feel supported, informed and confident in their approach to health and safety. Building strong relationships with trades and operational personnel will be key, helping to translate HSE requirements into practical, easy-to-understand guidance that can be effectively applied on the ground.

We recognise that no two HSEQ professionals are the same. Some prefer a more office-based position, while others thrive in hands-on, boots-on-the-ground roles, working directly with site personnel and operational teams. Our approach is centred on understanding your individual preferences, career goals and working style so we can connect you with opportunities that are the right fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement safety procedures and HSE management plans to reduce workplace risks and minimise the likelihood of incidents.

- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, identifying contributing factors and recommending preventative measures to avoid recurrence.

- Deliver practical training and coaching to trades and labour personnel where required,

encouraging greater HSEQ awareness and ownership throughout the business.

- Develop, implement and maintain Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures, including the company-wide development of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents.

- Prepare, communicate and present HSEQ information to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

- Monitor industry developments, safety trends and relevant standards, identifying opportunities to improve existing systems and practices.

- Conduct routine safety audits and workplace risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure appropriate controls are in place.

- Coordinate and deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety meetings to promote awareness and maintain a strong safety culture.

About You To be successful in these opportunities, you will bring:

- A minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.

- Previous experience working in a dedicated Health, Safety and Workplace role.

- A genuine commitment to promoting and maintaining a positive workplace safety culture.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).

- ICAM or relevant audit qualifications (desirable).
