Hospitality & Servery Assistant

Recent Auckland Place is seeking an experienced, organised, and team-orientated Hospitality and Servery Assistant to join our team today. This position plays a key role in delivering a quality and timely food and dining experience to residents.

This role is Permanent Part Time (PPT), with both morning and afternoon shifts available.

About New Auckland Place

New Auckland Place is an established 128 bed residential aged care home with a long-standing reputation with the Gladstone community. The kitchen team is led by an experienced aged care chef and the systems utilised to produce and deliver nutritious meals are well developed.

Duties Statement (not limited to)

· Commence shift by speaking with Chef and/or Cook about any resident dietary changes.

· Ensure dining room is set up and ready for meal service.

· Heat Bain Marie and finalise meal preparation.





· Collect food from the kitchen and return to the designated dining area.

· Complete meal service.

· Sanitise workspace and utensils.

· Assist chef/cook with preparation where needed.

· Complete morning tea/afternoon tea round.

· Empty and refill dishwasher.

· Serve meal to trays and the dining room.

· Clear meal service and dining room.

· Assist chef/cook as directed.

· Previous experience in hospitality, cafe or aged care highly regarded.
