About the Role

D&E; Air is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Victorian service team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HVAC professional to play a key role in delivering high-quality service, maintenance, repairs and installations across a range of client sites.

In addition to your core HVAC responsibilities, this role will provide an important electrical compliance function within our Victorian operations. Some of our works require basic electrical activities to be completed and certified in accordance with Victorian legislation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out routine HVAC servicing, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs and installations across commercial air conditioning and mechanical services systems.

- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably.

- Undertaking applicable electrical work associated with HVAC service activities and ensuring required electrical certification is completed in accordance with Victorian regulatory requirements.

- Acting as the business’s nominated Electrical Technical Supervisor,



providing the required technical oversight and fulfilling the associated compliance, supervision and certification obligations.

- Ensuring electrical work is undertaken within the scope of your qualifications, licence and authorisations, and that appropriate safety and compliance procedures are followed.

- Maintaining accurate service records, electrical documentation and compliance certificates.

- Providing professional service to clients, identifying opportunities for system improvements and working collaboratively with the wider service team.

About You

You are an experienced HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, providing excellent customer service and ensuring all work is completed safely and compliantly.

You bring robust technical capability across HVAC systems, together with the electrical qualifications and professional judgement required to support D&E; Air’s Victorian service operations.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience in HVAC service, maintenance, fault finding and repair, ideally within commercial mechanical services.

- Relevant refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications, with a sound understanding of HVAC electrical and mechanical systems.

- The appropriate Victorian electrical licence, registration and qualifications to undertake and certify the electrical work required for this position.





- The capability and willingness to fulfil the responsibilities of the business’s nominated Electrical Technical Supervisor, including applicable technical oversight, compliance and certification obligations.

- A strong understanding of electrical safety, regulatory requirements and the importance of ensuring work is completed within the scope of your authorisations.

- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing service priorities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to client relationships and teamwork.

- A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, accurate documentation and continuous improvement.

- A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required.
