At J&R; Refrigeration, you’ll work across a range of commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and HVAC systems throughout Far North Queensland, predominantly Cairns. You’ll be trusted to do what you do best, supported when needed, and given opportunities to continue growing professionally.

About the Role

Your work may include:

- Commercial refrigeration and HVAC service and maintenance

- Electrical,



mechanical and controls fault-finding

- Breakdown response and rectification

- Preventative and corrective maintenance

- Commissioning and performance testing

- Technical advice and service reporting

- Supporting apprentices and improving technical standards

- Regional travel when required

What We’re Looking For

- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade qualification

- Current ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence

- Relevant Queensland occupational licences

- Current driver’s licence

- Commercial HVAC&R; service experience

- Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Sound electrical and controls knowledge

- Commitment to safe, quality workmanship

- Professional communication and customer service

Experience with controls, commissioning, ammonia or industrial refrigeration will be highly regarded but is not essential.
