Our client is a large boutique Business Services Accounting firm, looking for an intermediate accountant to join their team in Melbourne. An exciting opportunity to be a part of a recognised firm where you will be serving a variety of clients across a range of industries by providing taxation, accounting & business advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and income tax returns
- Assist with preparation of financial statements for various entity types
- Research tax matters and assist in resolving client queries
- Reconcile tax accounts and support tax provision work
- Liaise directly with clients to ensure timely, accurate outcomes

Requirements
- 3 years’ business services/public practice experience
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
- Solid understanding of Australian tax legislation
- Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, or similar)
- Part or full CA/CPA qualifications
