APG Workforce is currently seeking a Linemarker Grade 1 to join Transport for NSW (TfNSW), based at the Wagga Wagga Depot.
This is a great chance for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a government road maintenance team.
Position Details
- Pay Rate: $45.45 per hour + Super
- Location: Wagga Wagga, NSW
- Start Date: 2 November 2026
- Duration: Until 2 February 2027
- Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm, with potential overtime, weekend and night work
- Travel: Must be willing to work away from home for up to 10 days at a time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with road linemarking operations and general labouring duties
- Clean and maintain work vehicles and equipment
- Load trucks and equipment (if forklift licensed)
- Drive escort vehicles and vans to support road crews
- Transport vehicles and equipment to job sites (if appropriately licensed)
- Undertake truck driving duties where licensed
- Assist with general road maintenance and site activities
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Essential Requirements
- Current Traffic Control Ticket
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- Workers on Foot (WoF) accreditation
- Must reside locally in Wagga Wagga or surrounding areas
- Ability and willingness to travel and work away from home for up to 10 days at a time
- Flexibility to undertake night shifts, weekend work and overtime as required
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labouring duties
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
Desirable:
- HR Driver's Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Previous experience in road maintenance, construction or linemarking
