We are currently seeking an experienced Podiatrist for a locum opportunity across two health service sites in Western Melbourne, close to the CBD.

About the role

This is a locum opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, partnering with medical and nursing staff to deliver coordinated, holistic and person-centred podiatry care.

- Start: ASAP

- Contract: 3 - 6 months

- Hours: Monday - Friday (Flexible full-time or part-time)

- Rate: $60–$70 per hour + super

Key responsibilities

- Assess and manage a range of foot conditions, including complex and high-risk presentations associated with diabetes, peripheral vascular disease and other underlying health conditions.

- Support clients to maintain foot health and prevent complications through tailored health education, preventative interventions and ongoing chronic disease management.

- Develop individualised care plans in partnership with clients, their carers and relevant healthcare providers,



taking a strengths-based approach that prioritises each client's needs, preferences and personal goals.

- Empower clients to take an active role in managing their own health by providing practical advice and promoting effective self-management strategies.

About you

- Qualified Podiatrist.

- Grade 1 or Grade 2 Podiatrist.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
