Permanent full-time position, 76 hours per fortnight, with a roster that is not fixed. $35.00 per hour + superannuation. Access to Not-for-Profit (NFP) salary packaging and additional benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs and routine upkeep across the facility.
- Undertake basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance tasks.
- Maintain outdoor areas and gardens, including mowing, hedging, sweeping, hosing and general groundskeeping.
- Help ensure the facility remains safe, clean, presentable and comfortable for residents, visitors and staff.
- Identify maintenance issues and assist with timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
About you
- Previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, gardening or groundskeeping.
- Practical skills across general repairs and property maintenance.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a strong focus on safety.
- A caring and respectful attitude when working in an aged care environment.
