The OpportunityWe have a unique opportunity as the General Manager (GM) for Sikorsky Aircraft Australia Limited (SAAL) a Lockheed Martin company, widely regarded as Australia’s leading rotary wing support organisation.Dedicated to providing full sustainment solutions, training and end to end logistics support for the Royal Australian Navy's fleet of MH-60R Seahawk helicopters, this role is based in the beautiful Shoalhaven Region in NSW.As the GM you will be responsible for setting the SAAL portfolio growth strategy, driving program performance, advancing digital transformation, and delivering on financial commitments.Ensuring a culture of belonging, trust and transparency for all employees whilst maintaining robust positive relationships with boith internal and external customers is key.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and control SAAL MRO and Logistics Operational ExcellenceEnsure the delivery of cost, schedule,



and technical performance of the SAAL MRO and contracted requirementsDevelop and implement the strategic plan for expanded operations and progressive capability developmentAlign the organisation to optimize program deliveryDeveloping a realistic and closeable opportunity pipelineActively participate and support new business capture activitiesWhat you'll bringYou will have proven extensive strategic experience managing a portfolio of domestic and international large-scale development, production, and/or sustainment programs ($500M+). Ideally you will hold Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline from a recognised institution, and/or expert relevant experience, as well as European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA); Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) and Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) qualifications to hold the Accountable Manager Role and Responsibilities.Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of program financial measurements including Earned Value Management System (EVMS)Proven capability in building effective customer relationshipsStrategic thought leader with proven experience developing and executing growth strategiesSuperior risk and opportunity management skillsProficient in AI promptimg as it applies to this position and practice#J-18808-Ljbffr
