About the role

C&C; Painting Group is seeking qualified or experienced Painters and Painting Team Leaders to join our Canberra team in permanent full-time positions. Working across premium residential, commercial and strata projects, you'll join a professional team that values quality workmanship, clear communication and a positive approach.

Key responsibilities

Painters

- Deliver quality painting work and contribute to an efficient and productive team
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly and apply coatings to a professional standard
- Follow project scopes, specifications and coating requirements
- Work efficiently to meet agreed timeframes while maintaining quality
- Protect clients' properties and maintain clean, organised work areas
- Communicate clearly, raise issues early and follow safety procedures

Team Leaders:
- On-the-tools team leader position
- Plan daily activities and allocate tasks clearly
- Lead projects to meet quality standards and allocated timeframes
- Support and develop painters and apprentices
- Monitor progress and communicate updates, requirements and issues
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and site contacts
- Take ownership of workmanship, team performance and project outcomes

About you

- A Painting & Decorating qualification or robust demonstrated painting experience
- Sound knowledge of preparation, application and finishing
- Pride in your workmanship and strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Initiative, accountability and a professional approach




- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
- A current White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness certificates
- Team Leader applicants should demonstrate experience leading painters, coordinating site activities and delivering work within agreed timeframes
- Experience across multiple project types is highly regarded
- Some projects may require a National Police Check and additional site-specific security clearances or inductions

- Annual salary of $75,000–$100,000 + super, depending on the position, experience and demonstrated capability
