C&C; Painting Group is looking for qualified or experienced Painters and Painting Team Leaders to join our Canberra team.

We deliver premium residential, commercial and strata projects, and we’re looking for people who take pride in their trade and want to work alongside others who share their standards.

About the Roles

Painters

You’ll work alongside our team to deliver quality painting work from preparation through to the final finish. Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing surfaces and applying coatings to a high standard.
- Following project scopes, specifications and coating requirements.
- Working efficiently to meet project timeframes while maintaining quality.




- Protecting clients’ properties and keeping work areas clean and organised.
- Communicating clearly with your team and raising issues early.
- Following site safety procedures.

Painting Team Leaders This is a hands-on role combining painting with day-to-day team and project leadership. In addition to the responsibilities above, you’ll:

- Plan daily work and allocate tasks clearly.
- Lead projects to meet quality standards and allocated timeframes.
- Guide and support painters and apprentices.
- Monitor progress and communicate updates, requirements and issues.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and site contacts.
- Take ownership of team performance and project outcomes.

Some Saturday work is required, with arrangements discussed during the interview. What You’ll Bring
- A Painting & Decorating qualification or strong demonstrated painting experience.
- Sound skills in preparation, application and finishing.
- Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail.
- Reliability, initiative and a positive approach to teamwork.
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work.
- A professional manner with clients and colleagues.

- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- A current White Card,



Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness certificates.

Team Leader applicants should also have experience leading painters, organising site activities and delivering projects within agreed timeframes. Experience across multiple project types is highly regarded. Painters with a strong residential, commercial or strata background who want to broaden their experience are also encouraged to apply.

Some projects may require a National Police Check and additional security clearances or site inductions.
