About the Role
As a Pharmacist, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately and safely dispensing prescriptions in accordance with professional standards.
- Providing expert medication counselling and healthcare advice to patients.
- Identifying potential medication interactions and ensuring patient safety.
- Delivering professional pharmacy services and supporting health promotion initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate dispensing records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Supporting and mentoring pharmacy assistants and other team members.
- Assisting with stock management and general pharmacy operations.
- Building strong relationships with customers and local healthcare professionals.
About You
We are seeking a reliable, professional and customer-focused pharmacist who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA general registration as a Pharmacist.
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights.
- A recognised Pharmacy qualification.
- Previous community pharmacy experience, preferably in Australia.
- Strong clinical knowledge and excellent dispensing accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy pharmacy environment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to patient wellbeing.
Experience with pharmacy dispensing software and skilled pharmacy services will be highly regarded.
