Via Napoli is looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our Surry Hills team. Known for authentic Neapolitan pizza and our signature metre-long pizzas, we’re seeking someone who takes pride in their craft and can deliver consistent quality during busy services.

What you’ll do

- Hand-stretch Neapolitan pizzas with a well-formed cornicione, maintaining consistent size and thickness.
- Top pizzas accurately, following our recipes and portion standards.
- Cook pizzas in a wood-fired oven, managing heat, positioning and rotation for an even bake.
- Handle dough correctly and recognise when it is ready for service.
- Prepare ingredients and keep the pizza section stocked and organised.
- Work closely with the other pizza chefs and kitchen team to keep service running smoothly.
- Maintain food safety,



stock rotation and cleaning standards.

What you’ll bring
- Proven experience making Neapolitan pizza in a busy restaurant.
- Confident hand-stretching skills and experience cooking in a wood-fired oven.
- An understanding of dough fermentation and handling.
- The ability to maintain quality and pace during high-volume service.
- Reliability, attention to detail and a positive team attitude.
- Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Australian work rights appropriate to the position.
