Join our Parks & Open Spaces team in this Level 5 (Stream B) role. Operate tractors, slashers and mowing equipment, carry out pre-start checks and daily maintenance, and lend a hand with vegetation, roads and drainage works.
You'll need:
- Tractor/slasher operating skills and roads and drainage maintenance or construction experience.
- A White Card and manual Queensland C class driver licence or interstate equivalent.
- Traffic Stop/Slow and Traffic Management Implementation competencies, or the ability to obtain these within six months.
- A safety-first approach, practical maintenance knowledge and the ability to work independently and in a team.
Interstate licences must be transferred to Queensland within three months of commencement. An HR licence, truck-driving experience and Certificate III in Civil Construction are desirable.
