We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Assembler / Fitter to join a well-established, busy heavy manufacturing company based in Drayton, Toowoomba. You DON'T need to be trade qualified! If you're mechanically minded, know your way around tools and enjoy pulling things apart, putting things together and figuring out how things work, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large manufacturing workshop with plenty of variety and consistent full-time work.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

- Mechanical assembly and fitting of heavy manufacturing components.
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
- Assembling, fitting and installing mechanical parts.
- Working with machinery, equipment and various components.
- Assisting with general workshop and manufacturing duties.
- Working alongside an experienced manufacturing team.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Mechanically minded – trade qualifications NOT essential!




- Experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, manufacturing or similar would be fantastic.
- Confident using hand tools and power tools.
- Someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, hardworking and a great team player.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn!

Whether you've worked as a mechanical assembler, fitter's assistant, trade assistant, workshop labourer or simply have excellent mechanical skills, we want to hear from you!

WHAT'S ON OFFER?

- $40–$42 per hour!
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
