Expected Role & Responsibilities

Depending on the placement, responsibilities may include:

- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments
- Participating in ward rounds
- Developing and implementing management plans
- Prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications
- Working within relevant Victorian Mental Health legislation and clinical frameworks
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Completing clinical documentation and discharge summaries
- Providing ongoing assessment and management of patients within the treating team
